English summary

Oscar Carré is a certified 'cultural profile school'. This means it offers additional cultural subjects complementary to regular education. These art courses provide pupils with a different view of the world. By integrating art and expression in the curriculum, they can develop themselves as broadly as possible.

Our pupils will be stimulated to discover and develop their talents through art and culture. Step into the 'wide world' with a self-confident attitude. Feel free to become creative and learn to reflect on each other and themselves in order to further develop their creativity and be able to grow. In that process, after all, the most beautiful discoveries come about.

School hours:

Monday to Friday: 08:30 – 14:20u. The school doors open in the morning at 8.15 am. All children have to be in their classroom at 08:30 am at the latest. International parent buddies
More and more international parents choose Oscar Carré as the most suitable school for their children, and we are very happy about that. We can imagine that if you don't speak (much) Dutch, it will be more difficult to understand what’s going on at school and to meet other parents.

We have come up with a solution: International parent buddies. Are you an international parent at Oscar Carré and do you have questions you would like to ask in English, or maybe in another language? Or would you like to meet some other international parents who are from the same country as you, or speak the same languages? Send an email to buddy@oscarcarre.nl, and we’ll try and help you further.

Together we cover the following languages: English, French, German, Russian, Spanish and Italian, and we are happy to help you find parents who speak other languages.

You may also send an email to the address above if you would like to be a buddy for (new) international parents. Think of the questions you had when your child started at school, and what you wish you had known sooner. With that experience you can help others, and maybe make some new friends in the process. Of course Dutch parents may become a buddy too.
